Pizza Van Halswell

Good pizza, close to home. Rolling Dough is a wood fired pizza trailer based in Christchurch, and Halswell is one of our regular Sunday spots.

Everything starts with the dough. It ferments for 24 hours at room temperature before it is stretched by hand. San Marzano tomatoes, 00 flour from Italy, fresh fior di latte mozzarella, then about 90 seconds in a screaming hot oven.

The menu is short on purpose. A handful of pizzas done properly, plus a special that changes with the seasons. Grab it hot and take it home, or eat it while it steams.

Find us in the car park at the Halswell Community Hall, 450 Halswell Road, Sundays from 4pm to 7.30pm, starting Sunday 13 September.
